Sant Pere de Ribes
Situat al sudest del massís del Garraf, Sant Pere de Ribes (que els seus habitants denominen Ribes) és un poble del Penedès voltat de vinyes i boscos, de tradició agrària, amb molt poques indústries i comptats establiments turístics.
Té 41 km2 de terme municipal, en el qual, a més de Ribes, hi ha els llogarets de Puigmoltó i les Torres i unes quantes urbanitzacions desperdigades per les boscúries (no pas més de les que hi ha als pobles de la rodalia).
El municipi també inclou el nucli de les Roquetes, situat a tocar de Vilanova, que té tants habitants com Ribes i una dinàmica socioeconòmica i cultural pròpies.
Tot plegat configura un municipi complex socialment i políticament.
